
Vantage Marketplace has signed Verbeek as a consultant - 03/10/08
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. announced that their wholly-owned subsidiary Vantage Marketplace LLC has secured the services of Mr. Gerald Verbeek, president of VMS, to educate and consult on energy related issues.
Vantage Marketplace LLC is a network of professionals who participate in confidential discussions across various industries and sectors, such as energy, retail, technology, and consumer goods. Vantage consultants come from a range of disciplines, including technical, financial, marketing, operational, and managerial professions. They have the opportunity to participate in a business designed to provide better information to the industry, which can lead to better investment decisions. A Vantage consultant's role is to educate and consult with key groups and individuals, such as investors - both public and private equity, business leaders, governmental entities, and high-level analysis organizations.

SPE honors Verbeek as a Technical Paper Reviewer - 11/11/07
To recognize those who have contributed their time and expertise to the peer review of 100 or more papers, SPE has created "A Peer Apart". Members who commit to be peer reviewers make substantial contributions to the industry's literature by helping to ensure that the papers published in SPE's technical journals are of the highest quality. This new program recognizes the elite group who have reached the milestone of 100 papers or more. Over time, these individuals have volunteered hundreds of hours to the society, helping to make SPE's peer-reviewed publications a valuable resource for the industry.
The inaugural class of A Peer Apart includes Gerald Verbeek, who together with the others members of this class was recognized during the Technical Editor Awards Receptions at SPE's Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition.

GeoMil opens an US ofice - 02/01/06
GeoMil, the leading provider of professional Cone Penetration Testing equipment, has signed an agreement with Verbeek Management Services in Tyler, Texas – USA to establish a local base for GeoMil’s North American operations.
Commenting on the agreement, GeoMil’s President Volker Berhorst said, “In the last couple of years GeoMil has covered the US and Canadian market from the company’s head office in The Netherlands, but with this agreement we are establishing an actual operating base in the US. Through this office we can serve our clients in North America much better, which is another step in our ongoing effort to expand our business internationally.”

Profound expands training program - 01/10/05
VMS-Profound announced that they can now provide training in the use of Profound's Vibration Monitoring equipment.
Commenting on this development, Profound’s President Peter Middendorp said, “Until now all training in the use of Profound equipment was provided by staff based at the company’s head office in The Netherlands. Our plan is that during 2005 our US office will start to provide training in the use of all our equipment, and the training program covering our Vibration Monitoring Equipment is the first step in this effort.”

VMS Officially Opens the Doors - 08/01/03
Gerald Verbeek, who had been providing consultancy services for some time, announced that from now on his services will be provided through Verbeek Management Services, a recently registered company based in Tyler, TX.
Commenting on this development, Verbeek stated, "The work load has been increasing steadily, and by setting up this new company I can start to plan for expanding our services. VMS will operate with the same philosophy I have applied to my consultancy work, and I trust that the new clients we can now serve will value our services, just like my existing clients have and continue to do."
